Do you survey your students? If yes, how often? 

We've all been surveyed by the companies with which we interact. Surveys seem to slide into my inbox almost daily, but I ignore the majority of them. I'm too busy to respond to each one. 

With this in mind, how should we design surveys so that we get the information we need from our students without irritating them? I've got three ideas.
