The storm was more urgent, and seemed more powerful in the moment. So they forgot how immensely powerful Jesus' words actually are…

This episode defines the word “Dielthomen” (Διέλθωμεν meaning: ‘Let us go across’) in Mark 4:35.

That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.(Mark 4:35-NIV)

Mark 4:35 - Καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ὀψίας γενομένης “Διέλθωμεν εἰς τὸ πέραν.”
