The Young Professionals Podcast (TYPP), proudly brought to you by ADAPT Careers (https://adaptcareers.com.au) and co-hosted by Luke Marriott and Nicholas Sargeant (Sarge).
In this episode Luke and Sarge interview Emily Wallace, a buyer's advocate running her own business in Melbourne's south-east suburbs - Emily Wallace (https://www.emilywallace.com.au/). Emily initially thought she would become a teacher, completing a Bachelor of Arts / Education at Monash University (https://www.monash.edu/) after moving from Hobart to Melbourne after high school.
Deciding teaching wasn't for her towards the end of her degree, Emily started her professional career in recruitment before later deciding to take the plunge into the property industry, enrolling in a buyer’s advocate course she discovered online.
Having not looked back, Emily has her hands in many pots, including co-hosting her own podcast, My Millenial Property (https://www.sortyourmoneyout.com/m3prop), co-hosting her own show on online news streaming platform Ticker Property (https://tickertv.com.au/programs/collection-1hefgbhmvew) and offering her own LinkedIn training programs outside of her usual buyer’s advocate business.
If you have a career story you would like to share, a role you would like to learn more about or any questions you would like us to ask young professionals, you can reach us through any of our social media that can be found at TYPP.com.au. We would love to hear from you!
