Kuala Lumpur-based singer, songwriter and music producer Mardiana crafts lush pop music inspired by nostalgia, hope, heartbreak and healing. With a background in classical piano, Mardiana started composing music at a young age, and eventually transitioned to expand her musical repertoire as a fully independent artist.

Following the independent release of her 10-track debut album “DON’T CRY FOR ME”, the title track has garnered praise from international music publications such as Notion, C-Heads, Fame Magazine, Lock Magazine and more. Mardiana’s releases over the past year have been placed on numerous Spotify editorial playlists such as New Music Friday (Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand), Women of Malaysia, and Fresh Finds SG & MY.

Carefully crafting densely-layered vocal harmonies, versatile lyricism and dreamy synthwave elements, Mardiana aims to create a sonic landscape that transports her listeners into her world of empowerment and endless optimism.

Holding honesty and authenticity close to heart, she hopes to share her stories on the big stage with her debut festival appearance this summer.
