Nearly 60% of all minimum wage workers are ages 16-24. President Biden’s new $1.9T stimulus package would include a $15 minimum wage. The current minimum wage is $7.25, and it’s been that way for the last 22 years.

In Utah, we have a similar proposal. It’s House Bill 284, sponsored by a couple of freshmen legislators. It would increase the minimum wage in the state to $12 in July, $15 by 2026.
