Priya completed her BA with honors majoring in criminology, minoring in psychology. Her thesis was titled "selling sex online: a content analysis of sex worker advertisements". Volunteered with various feminist organizations such as Vancouver Rape Relief and Battered Women's Support Services. During her undergrad, she volunteered in the downtown eastside with organizations that provide services to street level sex workers such as PACE and WISH
