15: Provision In Peculiar Places (Part 1)
In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches begins the series, “God as Our Provider.” God has the role of Provider and we have the role of the one that is provided for. When we get out of that role, we are barren and produce no fruit. It is the will of God that He blesses us in such a way, in such a magnitude, that we are able to be a blessing to others. Today’s message is “Provision in Peculiar Places.”
Dr. Funches looks at an indisputable fact among Christians, regardless of the denomination: God is our Provider. It’s important that we know that. God calls us first to know and then to believe this fact. New Covenant believers receive from God by believing. The faith to believe comes by hearing, and obviously, hearing the word of Christ. God is our provider, no matter what we need. By Jesus’s stripes, we are completely healed. God wants to take us to a place where we fully trust in Him as our Provider. Sometimes God provides in an unorthodox way. God’s most important provision is Jesus, the Bread of Life, King of Kings, Savior of the world, and only begotten Son of the true and living God, who was born, surrounded by animals in a peculiar place and laid in a manger.
