In this first instalment of Season 3, the Yes Girls say "yes" to something they've both never done before! They both say "YES" to doing stand-up comedy!
They are both natural comedians in their own right(s), but doing it professionally in front of a live audience (of half strangers) as the final challenge makes this one of the most challenging "YESes" they've ever agreed to.
So for an entire week or so, their job was to research, i.e. spend hours watching stand-up comedy on YouTube, laughing at and analysing stand-up comedy jokes, maybe watch some stand-ups on Netflix, study and analyse their best stand-up comedians and possibly even search for actual stand-up comedy shows by typing "stand-up comedy near me" or attending comedy shows that Brian Onjoro (Instagram: @onjoroibrahim) organises as the founder of the Nairobi Comedy Club (Instagram: @nairobicomedyclub) and veteran in Nairobi's stand-up scene!
PS: Our resident No Girl for this episode is Freyja Oddsdottir.
