This week of January 31 is Catholic Schools Week, and we’re joined by two guests from an organization that is helping schools around the country offer an education that incorporates treasures old and new: it’s called the Institute For Catholic Liberal Education. Elizabeth Sullivan is the Executive Director, and Dr Andrew Seeley is the Director of Advanced Formation. We discuss a range of questions about education and the liberal arts, but my favorite point this week came from Dr Seeley, who explains that it is only an education with a supernatural vision that can understand the human person in its full reality , with a soul, a mind that needs to be nourished and a heart that needs to love.
