Dr. Vanessa Sung (she/her) is a fresh new doctor who recently defended her Ph.D. in biochemistry at McGill University, with a focus on breast cancer research. Having wrapped up her Ph.D., Vanessa now works as a science policy analyst for the Chief Science Advisor in Canada, Dr. Mona Nemer. We talk about her cool job, how to have your voice heard, and the importance of having your very own lady web.
