This week, we introduce a brand new concept: The Pop Culture Country Tier List! Before delving into that, we postulate about coffee versus tea habits, caffeine dosage and how to make the perfect pour over (2:25).
Then we dive into our Sweden pop culture deep dive (10:45) which sees us rank Swedish pop culture exploits by category in an effort to reach a definitive and (somewhat) objective world ranking. We start by covering Sweden's world-class music scene (16:30), then analyze their contributions to global film & tv (28:50) before ruminating on some of our favorite Swedish literature for all ages (34:45). It's then on to the meaty part of the postulation with cuisine (38:40), sports (43:34) and a surprise appearance from a furniture store that has become ubiquitous in discussions about the Scandinavian country (49:20).
After tallying up Sweden's points, we read out a couple of listener postulations from the mailbag (55:07).
As ever, you can connect with us through our twitter account @InPostulation and via email [email protected]. Feedback, questions and postulations all very welcome!
