On today’s show, I’m joined by UCLA Professor and Positive Psychologist Emily vanSonnenberg. After surviving a horrific car crash, she found her love for Positive Psychology and, while still an undergraduate, created and taught the first UCLA course titled “Happiness”. She then went on to pursue her Master’s degree in Positive Psychology and work with such prominent psychologists such as Sonja Lyubomirsky and the founder of Positive Psychology, Martin Seligman. In addition to lecturing at several Universities on happiness, motivation, and meaningful work, Emily also works with individuals and teams to increase both performance and enjoyment.
