This episode details some of the horrors which illegal immigrants face.  It then argues that the United States is complicit in these atrocities because the America's immigration system does not prevent illegal immigration.  If the US immigration system prevented illegal immigration, fewer illegal immigrants would come to the US.  Consequently, the horrors which happen to illegal immigrants would decrease.
