What is the first thing you need to know about working in the field? Is it how to rake, haul brush, tie a knot, or just don’t get hurt? I would say it’s a mix of all that and then some. We are looking for the place safety, efficiency, knowledge, and grit meet. When the hole crew is on the same page, and everyone understand the way things work on the job. It’s when you know when to hold’em, know when to roll’em, know when to walk away and know when to run.
