Why does any of this matter? Is this just a podcast you tune into because you enjoy our banter? Maybe it makes you feel better to expand on our understanding of certain topics involving our neighbors... but what next?

We wanted to spend some time talking about a word we hate - volunteering. What's our first reaction when we hear the word? Why do we do it? Why do we feel compelled to and/or guilty about (not) volunteering? What does it mean for us... our neighbors... our society... our time in history to be a people who know what we think about volunteering?
