(Air Date 3/14/24) This week bodycam footage was released and showed the gory details of the deadly exchange between a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy and Ryan Gainer, a 15-year-old teen on the autism spectrum. This case highlights the lapses in judgment, training, and compassion we are far too often seeing from law enforcement who engage people who are on the spectrum.
