Our guest is recent alum, Steve Mussmann. Steve graduated from Purdue in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics. Today, Steve is a fourth-year PhD candidate at Stanford University in the Computer Science Department. Prior to earning his PhD, Steve worked for Rolls Royce as a researcher and at Google as a software engineer intern. During his time at Purdue, Steve was involved with the Purdue Math Club, Science Ambassadors, and was a brother of Sigma Tau Gamma. He also won the Ross Award for “Outstanding Senior Man” when he graduated in 2015. On this episode, Steve shares his perspective on the future of artificial intelligence and how Purdue played a big role in his career journey.
