Our guest is recent alum, Pau Pineda Bosque. Pau graduated from Purdue in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering. Today, Pau is a propulsion test engineer at Virgin Orbit. She writes, carries out, and supports all hot fire tests on the NewtonFour engine for Virgin Orbit. During her time at Purdue, Pau was a team lead for the NASA Next program with Johnson Space Center. She was also a TA for the physics department for two years, and she spent an entire summer at Purdue doing research on designing probes for Venus. On this episode, Pau shares her perspective on the future of space exploration, and how Purdue played a big role in her career journey.
