To just do the thing may look like doing something we need to do but keep avoiding doing it because of an emotion we’re actually trying to avoid. Leaning in and doing something that’s going to help us become the version of ourselves that we want to be may not always be comfortable but doing it anyway will help us in the long run. What are you avoiding doing becasue of a potential emotion you may feel that you don’t want to feel? How can you take one small step in the direction you want to go and feel better emotionally while doing it?
