The Homebuilders Association of Greenville held its annual Housing Market Forecast conference this past week, and there were plenty of interesting nuggets to take away from it. A few things that were discussed there were:
-Why and how the media inaccurately portrays real estate prices as going down.
-Why the real estate price increases of the past 2.5 years were a correction to the norm rather than a bubble
-Why government inventory numbers don't match the numbers that anyone else is publishing
There's a lot more where that came from! So let's open up the notebook and talk about what was learned at this fascinating event.
