The moon on 31 August is round and big. It is a full moon. We live on the Earth and see a full moon about once a month. There are times when the full moon is close to the Earth and times when it is far from the Earth, and when it is close to the Earth, it is bigger. That is the supermoon.

On the day of the supermoon, take a good look at the moon. There are bright areas and dark areas. The dark area is the silhouette of a rabbit. The rabbit is standing and making mochi. In Japan, there is a myth that there are rabbits on the moon. Are there stories about the moon in your country too?
