We all have heard about drug addiction, sex addiction, phone addiction but no one really talks about “drama addiction” and it happens to be the most common addiction amongst humans.


Human brain does find secret pleasure through drama as it trigger the release of neurotransmitters like dopamine, adrenaline and cortisol. This unhealthy pleasure-inducing high from dramatic situations does feel just like drugs.


To break this pattern : there are many healthier ways to stimulate your brain in a positive way. You can still get your dose of drama in a positive healthy way without it affecting you in any bad or negative way.


By being blissfully occupied (so busy that you have no time to be bored or petty. Drama mostly arises out of boredom or romanticisation of sadness/suffering.)


By channelling drama in your styling or makeup or decor or video games or hobbies or elaborated recipes.


By watching a scripted dramatic reality shows that spices up your brain in the right way when you’re bored.


Let’s be honest, real life drama feels so icky and it really sucks so why manifest all that when healthier channels exist?
