Dan, Manny, & Billy put the 1992 comedy classic My Cousin Vinny to the ultimate test—THE NOSTALGIA TEST!
“[My Cousin Vinny] is a Thanksgiving movie.
This is an absolute lovefest of an episode with My Cousin Vinny quotes flying all over the place. From the start to the end there’s nothing but amazing things to say about the dialogue, the comedic timing of Joe Pesci, Marisa Tomei, Ralph Macchio, the late great Fred Gwynne, Mitchell Whitfield, Lane Smith, and Austin Pendleton. The boys try to find plot holes and come up empty, except for their star audience member Long Island artist Andrew Breen (@rocktapusjones_art) who finds one very minor issue. Manny does an amazing reenactment of Marisa Tomei’s “Hunting” monologue, they go through the hilarious prison scene with Joe Pesci and Mitchell Whitfield, and the perfectly ridiculous NY character names. In the end, they determine whether this movie passes The Nostalgia Test and discuss why My Cousin Vinny is a perfect Thanksgiving movie.
Get ready for a nostalgic trip with these three yutes through possibly one of the best comedies of all time.
