うちに車があります。先々週、車のかぎをなくしました。今週、かぎを見つけました。よかったです。

車の鍵は２つあります。私の鍵がないから、夫の鍵を使っていました。でも、２つあったほうがいいです。新しい鍵を作るために車のメーカーに電話しました。受付の人が「鍵の担当者は今、忙しいから、後で電話します」と言いました。３時間待ちました。遅いです。もう一度、私から電話しました。受付の人は同じことを言いました。ずっと待っていましたが、電話は来ませんでした。でも、次の日の朝、私は車の鍵を見つけました！　鍵は、いつも履かない靴の箱の中にありました。

車の鍵がないと気がついたのは夏休みの旅行から帰った時でした。旅行の間は車を使ってませんでした。駐車場は家の前です。私は、うちに泥棒が入った時に車の鍵があったら、車が盗まれるかも、と思いました。車を盗まれないように鍵を隠したのですが、隠したことを忘れていました。出かける用事があってきれいな服を着た日に、おしゃれな靴を履こうと思って靴の箱を開けたら鍵がありました。見つかってよかったです。

We have a car at home. The week before the last week, I lost the car key. This week I found the key. I am glad.

There are two car keys. I didn't have my key, so I was using my husband's key. But it is better to have two. I called the car manufacturer to make new keys. The receptionist told me that the person in charge of the keys was busy at the moment and would call me later. I waited for three hours. I called again. The receptionist said the same thing. I waited for a long time, but the call never came. But the next morning I found my car key!　The key was in the box of my shoes, which I don't usually wear.

It was when I returned home from my summer holiday trip that I realised that I didn't have my car keys. I didn't use the car during the trip. The parking lot is in front of our house. I thought, if my car key was there when my house was burglarised, my car might get stolen. I hid the keys in order not to have it stolen, but I forgot that I had hidden them. On that day when I was wearing clean clothes because I was going out, I opened my shoe box to put on some stylish shoes, and there was the key. I'm glad I found it.
