As we look into its extensive legacy, we delve more into how Halloween re-defined the slasher sub-genre and inspired future classics such as Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, etc. It’s an iconic franchise of excellent to good to just ok movies that continues to live on with two new highly anticipated films coming out in 2021 and 2022 that we can’t wait to watch.
