This week on The Bottom Line on KCLR John Purcell was joined by Simon Coveney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to speak about the challenges and opportunities facing businesses and to discuss a range of issues such as Brexit, the Environment & the regulation of Artificial Intelligence.
With the motor industry being such a big employer and contributor to the local economy John spoke with Brian Cooke, Director General of the Society of the Irish Motor Industry, about the latest monthly motor trade figures and what they tell us about the state of the motor industry nationally and locally.
Chef Conor Higgins joined John to chat about the recently opened Higgs Field Restaurant, and how he’s travelled from Kilkenny to Canada and back again as he’s honed his culinary skills to bring us a vegetarian restaurant using locally farmed and foraged ingredients.
