Today's episode is all about clarity—what it gives you, and where it can trip you up.
I reflect on something powerful I heard on The Diary of a CEO with Jimmy Fallon. He shared his obsession with getting on Saturday Night Live—how he wrote it in his journal, non-negotiable, and pursued it with singular focus. That kind of energy? That’s clarity.
Right now, I’m getting that same type of clarity from my Everest Base Camp + Lobuche Peak goal. I didn’t have a weighted vest a few months ago, but now it’s part of the toolkit. Why? Because the what is set—and the how is starting to fall into place.
đź’Ą The insight I want to share with you today?
We often get caught up in the how before we’ve decided on the what. And that’s what kills momentum.
If I had started asking “how” too soon, I would’ve talked myself out of this trek: no hiking experience, no elevation training, no love for leg day. But I set the what, and that decision has mobilized everything else.
So today’s encouragement is simple:
Stop asking “how” too soon. Get clear on what you want.
The how will come. Trust yourself to figure it out.
🎒Bonus tangent: I also rave about my new weighted vest (so many pockets!) and mention the hilarious Jimmy Fallon/Nicole Kidman clip, which you must watch if you need a mood boost. I’ll link it in the show notes.
Thanks for sticking with me through the puffing and panting—see you tomorrow!
