And to be honest, I almost didn't share it for the very fear of what's discussed in it.
But I also recognise that as the very reason I need to share it, because I know more women are feeling this exact way. Ironically, this is the entire embodiment of my work, and you're catching me in a very real, raw, vulnerable, unfiltered, unscripted conversation. For whatever fucking reason, my higher self said, "Record," without any intention of doing anything with it, and as soon as I finished, I recognised, "Oh, this is actually what more women need to hear too."
I recorded this on a walk, on a bench, watching ducks. No script, no agenda, no audience in mind. What you're about to hear is me coaching myself in real time. My human, raw, vulnerable self and my higher self going back and forth, with absolutely nowhere to be except right here in the mess of it.
If you don't love all of who you are and what you've done right now, this is that space for you.
This is where you let the masks down. The guard down. Because I know you. You're hiding behind your success and your accolades, and deep inside you know there's more aliveness, more richness, more of you to be fully felt and expressed.
I get it because I've lived it. Unknowingly, without noticing, I let who I was and what I'd created box me in until I was suffocating and wanting to bust out. Invisible rules got put on me without my permission. What I was allowed to share. How I was allowed to express. Who I was allowed to be. And I was like, what the fuck is this? This is not what I built any of this for.
I lost my joy. I lost my spark. I lost my aliveness for the very thing I started this for in the first place.
And speaking to so many of you, you're feeling this too. The invisible weight. The successful prison. The cage you built with your own bare hands without even realising it.
This episode is not full of ego. It's not polished. There's no crying for effect and no manufactured moment. It's just the real thing. A bounced payment. The fear of being found out. The gap between how things look and how they actually feel. And then the slow, unperformed return to remembering who the fuck I am.
Because that's what I'm actually afraid of. More women feeling like I felt. Trapped, stuck, forgetting who they are. Defining themselves by constructs and external circumstances that were never theirs to carry. by past accomplishments, by titles by sunken costs by INSERT WHATEVER...
So here it is. No armour. Come as you are. Share with me what comes up. What resonates? What activates you? Where are you also feeling seen in this uncandid conversation?
