Steve Gilman is the Founder of Range, an employee professional development platform, and a graduate of Columbia Business School. After entering business school with a desire to explore numerous career paths, Steve found his way into entrepreneurship during his second year of business school and has worked on multiple companies since graduation.

During this interview, Steve spoke about his journey from professional baseball to the foreign service to entering business school and how his experiences gave him the inspiration for his newest company, Range. Steve also reflected on some of the challenges with how professional development and learning happens in today’s workplace, and what he and his team are doing to solve for it with Range.
