The time has finally come: to kick off the new year, Tom and John finally dive into one of Canada's most storied craft producers: Chambly Quebec's own UNIBROUE. We sample 1/2 of the contents of a new variety pack. First we go over some history of the brewery before getting into the contents. To start, we sample the damn strong MAUDITE! Next up, we take things back to '67 and indulge in SAISON LIBRE. Lastly, we explore more Quebecois lore and try TROIS PISTOLES. A pretty chatty episode this time around, as we also discussed: the Montreal Canadiens; what's wrong with the NBA; defunct CHL teams; John's family lore; Generation Beta; the Quiet Revolution; and Skoal special blend.
