#158 - TURN Sports: Discussing Sport Edmonton, the Fresh Nets Foundation, the WNBA and more with Reed Clarke!

Listen Later

“Start early… if you love sports, you love your city, and you love your community, get into that stuff earlier… I probably had a lot of years where I wasn’t really doing that even though I had the passion for it… so if I look back I would have started those things at an earlier date for sure.” - Reed Clarke

A proud born and raised Edmontonian, Reed Clarke is a business and sports executive with an MBA and a passion for community involvement. Clarke has had various sales marketing roles during his career, including the President, CEO and Co-Owner of the Edmonton Stingers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Clarke has recently taken on the role as CEO of Sport Edmonton and is also a proud member of the Explore Edmonton, Sport Central and Alberta Basketball boards, as well as the founder of the Fresh Nets Foundation, a community initiative installing nets on outdoor courts around Alberta and beyond. Navin is joined by Reed to discuss Sport Edmonton and the Fresh Nets Foundation, the newly built WNBA Court in Edmonton, what’s going in the WNBA and the NBA, and much more in this episode.
