The mental health of Australian’s was dealt a blow last week with the Federal Government of Australia cutting subsidised services to psychologists and other mental health services.

The Federal Health Minister Mark Butler made the announcement last month and it remains to be seen as to where the Albanese government will proceed, but the Health Minister has promised to meet and hear from professionals in the field to try and work out a way forward.

Let’s hope those needing help now don’t fall through the cracks.
