As coaches, most of us consider ourselves good listeners. You care deeply about your clients; part of demonstrating that care is being a good listener.

To help clients tap into who they are and what they want, we, as coaches, first need to ensure we completely understand our clients' situations. That comes through actively listening when our clients are speaking to us.

In today's episode, I'm exploring next-level listening as the second part of our art of coaching series. We'll break down the traditional approach to active listening, including how the ICF defines it, what it means to be a next-level listener, and additional ways to approach listening that will enhance our clients' experiences.
