In this weeks episode we had a lovely catch up with Erin’s nanny Fran Nulty. This one is very close to our hearts as Fran has had a massive impact on us both growing up, we spent most of our teenage years in her house drinking tea and listening to her stories. She is an absolute character and a legend where we’re from. It was amazing to just sit and listen to her. She is mad as a brush, so it will get you all to see where Erin got her personality from.

She talked about growing up in Ireland, having a child out of wedlock, meeting her husband Pops, the “king of Cabra”, and moving from her seaside town Balbriggan into Dublin with him. They went on to have 6 kids and many grandchildren, then he passed on 2 years ago, his memory lives on through all of us. We also talk about the life lessons she taught Erin while she lived with her for 6 years.

Fun Fact: Hannah’s nanny was Erin’s nanny’s godmother! Our friendship was written in the stars
