In this episode I chat with Taylor Mitchell on the topic of the Consumer Price Index, also known as CPI.

Taylor Mitchell is an Ottawa-based economist and price expert. She currently works for Statistics Canada as a senior analyst for the Consumer Price Index. Her research interests include pricing patterns in e-commerce, price discrimination and consumer prices during the COVID-19 pandemic. A transplant from Hamilton, Ontario, Taylor is an alumnus of McMaster University.
