The Medical diagnosis serve the medical world more than it serves the patient. It actually puts limits on the possibilities to heal the physical ailment for the patient. In order to heal, the possibilities lie in the deeper and bigger understanding of the diagnosis. Similarly, the labels given to us from our caretakers, or other authoritative figures can have a lasting limiting and painful effect. They create a system of beliefs or a paradigm that many times we don’t even recognize and continue to live painfully with those limitations. We can change the paradigms and beliefs and replace with new beliefs that serve not only to expand our thinking but become a catalyst in our healing.
