Dietrich Baker had been a middle school Social Studies and Language Arts teacher for about a dozen years when a simple visit to his daughter’s 2nd grade class had a profound effect on him. During that visit, he was amazed at how the teacher was so effectively integrating the use of technology with her very young elementary age students. That experience prompted Dietrich to make more use of technology in his classroom, and it also set him on the path to where he is today, serving as a Technology Integration Coach at North Tapps Middle School in the state of Washington.
