Episodio 16 - Inteligencia artificial y la Pandemia
El mercado ya estaba planeando mayores interacciones con la IA, pero ¿qué hizo la pandemia COVID-19 con estos planes y cuál es el futuro de la digitalización en la industria?
Eduardo Durán, Consultor Sénior de la Gerencia de Innovación enfocada en Analytics e IA en Entel Chile y también nuestro invitado de la semana, habló sobre los planes de IA, IoT y 5G para América Latina.
También comentó sobre cómo la Inteligencia Artificial será crucial para poder compartir todo tipo de información sobre el Coronavirus y cómo será importante prevenir pandemias como esa en el futuro.
Con respecto al retraso en el desarrollo de 5G en la región, Eduardo dijo que no es para nada negativo, ya que no podríamos disfrutar plenamente de las aplicaciones de esta nueva generación estando solo en casa.

The market was already planning greater interactions with AI, but what did the COVID-19 pandemic do with these plans and what is the future of digitalization in the industry?
Eduardo Duran, Senior Consultant for Innovation Management focused on Analytics and AI at Entel Chile and also our guest of the week, spoke about the AI, IoT and 5G plans for Latin America.
He also commented on how Artificial Intelligence is going to be crucial to be able to share all kinds of information about Coronavirus and how it will be important to prevent pandemics like that in the future.
Regarding the delay in the development of 5G in the region, Eduardo said that it is not at all negative, since we would not be able to fully enjoy the applications of this new generation being only at home.
