Today, February 16, we celebrate the 90th anniversary of Radio Bulgaria – the multilingual voice of our country that, for nine decades, has connected Bulgaria with the world and the world with Bulgaria.

In today’s special anniversary edition of “Bulgaria Today”:

· We look back at the history of Radio Bulgaria, tracing its development from the first foreign-language broadcasts to its modern multilingual presence online.

· We bring you an interview with the Director General of the Bulgarian National Radio, who shares his vision for the future of Radio Bulgaria and the role of public media in today’s Europe.

· We also speak with the Editor-in-Chief of Radio Bulgaria, about the dedication, challenges and inspiration behind creating content for audiences around the globe.

· And at the end of the program, we’ll celebrate the occasion with a selection of Bulgarian music.
