Listen Later

In Episode 16 of the Lets Trash Talk podcast, Ed mentions the new podcast to take the world by storm, Serial. Ed and Sara briefly discuss the Serial podcast and how its popularity will help all podcasters. During the Random Thoughts segment, a young man is irate on the prejudice he's shown just because he has red hair.

Ed and Sara give some interesting news stories. Shia LaBeouf says he was raped during his #IamSorry art project. For his art exhibit titled #IAMSORRY, Shia LaBeouf sat silent and alone in a room at the Cohen Gallery in Los Angeles with a paper bag over his head. Visitors were allowed to pick up strange items such as a whip and enter the room one at a time. Shia LaBeouf says one of the exhibit's visitors raped him while her boyfriend stood outside.

Ed and Sara talk about how a 13 year old boy, who was locked out of his Arizona house, got the bright idea to try to enter the home via the chimney. Unfortunately for the teen, he got stuck in the chimney. 81 kids win a $140 million dollar lawsuit settlement because their teacher would blindfold and force them to eat cookies made with his semen. Last year's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has a second life in a veteran's new home. Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett was blatantly disrespectful of the criminal justice system by tweeting during jury selection. He also retweeted a questionable picture of President Obama's daughter.

Ed and Sara discuss the situation in Ferguson, Missouri. The fatal shooting of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson has caused the outbreak of protests across the United States. Was the shooting of a black man by a white cop racially motivated? A jury has decided not to indict Officer Wilson. This has caused chaos and rioting in Ferguson. Ed and Sara also talk about another police killing. Eric Garner was choked to death in NYC by a police officer.  All this and more on this episode of the Lets Trash Talk podcast.
