Author Leonie Swann joins me this week to talk me through her creative process and daily habits as a writer. I illustrated the cover for her most recent book, The Sunset Years of Agnes Sharp, and although we follow each other’s work online this is our first time chatting together. We had a roaming conversation about her unusual technique for developing the plot of crime novels, the importance of book cover art, the ins and outs of the industry and how to actually go about getting your first book published.
