I have been losing my vision in my left eye. It was very sudden so after a couple of days I went to the optometrist to get glasses and they told me I have astigmatism in both eyes. I ordered glasses but by the time they were ready, my vision loss had progressed and the glasses only helped my right eye. I went to the emergency room; I was admitted and diagnosed with optic neuritis. It is a disorder where the nerves in your eye are enflamed causing many to lose sight. This is also an early symptom of multiple sclerosis so I'm being held here for 3 days so they can give me steroids (
