We also survey some saints who are and aren't the best to hit up if you're looking for some romance in your life. Which saints have traditionally been called upon for matters of the heart, and what was required to win favor with these heavenly patrons? And how did (and do) these practices tread a fine line between Christian folk belief and straight up magic.
