In this series, we're looking at two of the court's largest affirmative action cases in decades. 

These marathon oral arguments went for 5 hours, so we'll be breaking these two cases (Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina and Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard) into multiple episodes. 

It's been 20 years since the court's last big affirmative action case, and these cases will likely have drastic effects on college admissions and potentially all policies regarding racial equality for years to come.
