After finishing Elvis in the previous episode James and Elsa picked a film from the filmography of the Sound Recordist David Lee and arrived at The Matrix.
The Matrix is a 1999 science fiction film written and directed by The Wachowskis. It depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside the Matrix, a simulated reality created by intelligent machines. Believing computer hacker Neo (Keanue Reeves) to be "the One" prophesied to defeat them, Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) recruits him into a rebellion against the machines.
Crew's Next is THE podcast about film. Every other week, join James Albarn and Elsa Grace as they review and discuss a film that they have chosen from the filmography of a crew member that worked on the previous film they discussed. They start with Christopher Nolan's Prestige but who knows where they will end up as each different crew members filmography takes them to different years, genres and, let's be honest, quality levels!
