There is so much in need of healing in our world. When we pay attention and notice what is all around us it can be disheartening and overwhelming. In the midst of the seeming darkness there are always warriors of light bringing their vision and fortitude in times of challenge and adversity.   That capacity to anchor vision and move with strength and fortitude is what moves us forward, personally and collectively. This true grit is our capacity to persevere with passion even in the face of overwhelming odds. We see this in the Ukrainian people. We are seeing this much closer to home with the long overdue passing of the Emmett Till Antilynching Act. The road to pass this bill was long and arduous, and it has finally happened due to the grit and determination of so many people over many, many years.
