Xian Hui Ang is currently pursuing her masters in Human Development and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She was a risk consultant in Malaysia for seven years working to build structures that mitigated crisis situations. However, her early career interests were in teaching. From the initial step of working at a kindergarten, she has maintained a strong desire to support learners to reach their full potential. Her decision to leave the corporate world to return to education reflects her deeper passion of fostering young people. Xian looks to apply socioemotional learning and project-based learning into her future ambitions to create educational structures in Malaysia that will foster global citizens. Enjoy the conversation!
