Love What You Create

162. When Doing The Work Brings Up Discomfort (And Why This is Okay)

Listen Later

When you sit down to create, and feel blocked, it’s not that you don’t want to create, write, or get your beautiful work out there.

It’s that you don’t want to feel the discomfort of wondering if it’s enough.

The discomfort of feeling unsure of where to start, and how to keep going.

The discomfort of the middle that looked so lovely from afar, and now just feels messy.

Or the discomfort of finally releasing it into the wild (eek, bears!).

I know that discomfort, because I’ve made friends with it, time and time again.

I’ve had to, because while the discomfort of doing the work is one thing, the weight of the incomplete work is quite another.

In this episode, I share why the discomfort is so much more okay than you think it is.

And then?

Join me in The Writing Room to get your beautiful work out there; clear creative blocks, hone your voice, share it with the world, and close the loops of work you've wanted to create for too long.

P.S. Join before 1pm Tues 21 Oct to receive access to the special Sneaky Sabotage Session I'm running, to clear your biggest personal creative block before we even begin. DM me on Instagram for more info.
