Today on the podcast I have Dietitian, athlete and founder of Liquid Gold Bone Broth, Candace Sciberras to chat all things business and lifestyle.

 

I initially reached out to Candace with the intention on picking her brain on what it is like to start a food based product from the ground up (which I did) but this conversation blossomed into so much more than that!

 

With the rise of social media, it has become so overwhelming and the pressure to launch 6 figure businesses is everywhere!  Creating a business that gives you freedom has turned into pressure to make as much money as possible, at all costs - but what if you decided to start a business that supports YOUR lifestyle, rather than growing as fast as possible to the top?

 

Candace is already a fantastic dietitian and has had a long and rewarding career as an athlete, so this business wasn’t about ‘quitting her job’ or ‘making 1 million dollars in 3 months’ it was making a bigger impact that just herself, one small step at a time.  As a service provider, she is limited with the amount of people she can see in a day/week/month so a product is the perfect way to support her community, in her zone of genius, that doesn’t require that 1:1 time.

 

Starting with just NSW, Candace has been able to start small, scale comfortably and stick her values and beliefs in her industry.  She is a firm believer in not needing to go from 0 to 100 overnight but moreso building brand, making sure your product is it’s absolute best and growing comfortably at a rate that compliments that her lifestyle which I genuinely think that’s so admirable.
