What started as a Bahama's beach vacation with her family in the summer of 2018 quickly turned into a disaster that my guest this week Stefanie Schaffer will forever remember. On the way to Exuma Island to visit the social media famous "swimming pigs" the boat she and her family were traveling on exploded. The result being her mother broke both her legs and wrists, another travel losing a leg, Stefanie losing both legs and a spinal cord injury, and one person dying. We speak this week about Stefanie's remarkable recovery and the even more remarkable lessons gained from it that we can all learn from. We cover the journey both physically and mentally adapting to her new normal and why she decided to write a book to share her side of the story. This is an amazing conversation and an amazing person.
